Why do you think it is that some nutritional doc’s who strongly promote the ketogenic diet, also warn against doing it long-term? I know you have been keto for about 12 yrs and obviously healthy! Ha

    • So don’t cheat ?. It’s a great lifestyle. I have struggled with my weight since I was little. Really! I have also tried almost everything but as soon as I added back carbs & sugar back came the weight and then some. What I was missing was high fat! It’s now been a year for me and Dr Nally knows what he’s taking about. I am lucky to live within 40 min of his office.

If you only eat once a day you are not getting enough fat/calories and your body is probably in starvation mode. It will hang on to every ounce of fat if it feels it’s not being properly fueled. Minimum is 1200 net calories a day after exercise.
